Hydrogen

With the growing economic turbulence of existing hydro-carbon fuels and their pollution in the atmosphere, the governments of the world are looking for a safer and environment friendly fuel.
Researchers have explored a lot of options for the fuel of the future—and hydrogen is leading the race by a large margin. Hydrogen fuel combusts or performs in a fuel cell having only water vapor as by-product, making it eco-friendly.
The US Department of Energy (DOE) has set-up deadlines for the effective usage of hydrogen for commercial needs.
Various researchers are trying to reach these deadlines—by introducing novel chemicals and powder morphologies which are intended to improve the effective storage of hydrogen for commercial applications.
